
At this Canadian IT Company based out of Niagara, they were spending upwards of Six (6) months reviewing and assessing new software purchases before actually moving forward with configuration and installation.
The Problem:
Information Security risks, configuration concerns, duplicative software use cases – you name it, we heard it. On top of all this, everything being done was being done manually or over email.
Loop Analytics was brought on to figure out a way to improve this process and to cut down the time it takes to review a software, while ensuring that the company’s risk profile was not negatively impacted.
The Solution:
Loop Analytics developed an entirely new process to manage these reviews, and leveraged the company’s recent roll-out of Microsoft Office 365 to build a completely automated review and approval workflow.
With internal Service Level Commitments established, and mistake proofing to ensure reviews moved along as quick as possible, Loop was able to cut the review time down from six (6) months, to two (2).
